2006 Chardonnay

Colour: Gold, tinged with green at the rim.

Bouquet: Aromatic peach and nectarine pervade.

Palate: Light and dry with hints of summer stoned fruits. Good length on the palate with a trace of smokiness.

From the Winemaker: The 2006 Vintage for our white grapes was down in quantity but not quality. The fruit was fermented to dryness resulting in a smooth finish to the wine.

From the Chef: Enjoy over lunch with chicken and a summer salad, or a veal and leek pie in cooler weather.



2008 Sauvignon Blanc

Colour: Light straw with delicate green tinges

Bouquet: A potpourri of tropical fruits.

Palate: Intense fruit flavours dominated by passionfruit with a hint of strawberries. This is a well balanced wine which lingers on the palate

From the Winemaker: This vintage was picked at a more advanced stage of ripeness than has previously been the case, to achieve the intensity and complexity of flavours. The fruit was fermented almost to dryness using 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes.

From the Chef: Will compliment antipasto selections, baked fish, or Salmon steaks with Sorrel Sauce.



2005 Pinot Noir

Colour: Deep cherry

Bouquet: Fresh raspberry and plum character, with a hint of mocha
and spice.

Palate: A wine with strong berry and fruit flavours combined with a pleasant astringency and earthiness.

Cellaring: To be enjoyed over the next two to three years.

From the Winemaker: A smooth wine with subtle and complex
flavour characteristics that we expect to further evolve in the bottle.

From the Chef: Serve with Veal cutlets and fried Quince



2006 Merlot

Colour: Mulberry.

Bouquet: A mixture of berry fruits berries

Palate: This is a smooth wine, gentle on the palate with its lingering overtones of raspberries and cherry flavours.

Cellaring: To be enjoyed over the next three years.

From the Winemaker: An elegant wine that is very pleasant now, but should benefit from cellaring.

From the Chef: Enjoy with Venison, Pork or braised meat and Spring vegetables.



2005 Cabernet Sauvignon

Colour: A velvety Mulberry.

Bouquet: This wine has a warm complex nose of plum and dark cherry with gentle spice and black pepper.

Palate: The medium bodied palate is smooth, with mixed berry flavours of good length and well balanced tannins.

Cellaring: Two to Eight years.

From the Winemaker: This is a richly textured wine that will develop complexity with time.

From the Chef: Traditional Roast Beef, Slow-cooked Marinade Butterflied Leg of Lamb.



2005 Shiraz

Colour: Dark Plum Red.

Bouquet: Vibrant Blackberry/Cherry modified with a spicy suggestiveness.

Palate: TA well textured wine in which the strong berry flavours are complimented with a hint of mixed Spices and morello cherry overtones that linger on the palate.

Cellaring: This wine is pleasant drinking now but will benefit with cellaring for Two to Five years.

From the Winemaker: Our 2005 vintage is an elegant wine with subtle blending of fruit and French Oak.

From the Chef: Excellent accompaniment to a Slow Cooked Casserole with Mushrooms, Shallots and Rich Red Wine.
