Lamplough
Estate produces proudly a range of premium wines made from
hand-harvested, estate-grown grapes.
Because our wines are grown, made and packaged on site, we have full
control of each step of the winemaking process, and we are able to achieve
a remarkable integrity and consistency of style and quality.
White wines are fermented in stainless steel vats under inert gas (carbon
dioxide) and are unoaked.
Red wines are fermented in open vats and hand-plunged for seven days
before basket pressing the must into stainless tanks for completion
of fermentation. The wine is then aged for a minimum of twelve months
in oak (mainly French) before filtration and bottling.
Lamplough Estate may be relatively new on the winery map, but it is
sure to leave an impressive mark.
